Le SuperTab est constitué de dioxyde de chlore (ClO2) sous forme de comprimé. Il s’agit d’un nouveau développement destiné notamment à faciliter fortement l’application du produit. Le dioxyde de chlore (à ne pas confondre avec le chlore !) est un oxydant relativement faible. C’est pour cette raison qu’il peut se trouver, à l’état libre, à une certaine concentration dans l’eau potable, ainsi que dans des étangs ou bassins abritant animaux et autres êtres vivants.
