Formaldehyd 40% in combination with Malachite Green is used against most unicellullar parasites including Costia, Trichodina, Chilodonella, White spot, etc... It is also effective against fungal infections.
Application :
20 ml to 1000 litres of pond water. Against White spot, treatment should be repeated with intervals of 4 days. Use above 8°C. Do not use in combination with salt (> 3g/l). Give a lot of oxygen during this treatment. Filter can continue to work during the treatment, the UV and ozone generator needs to be turned off for 4 days. 1 week after the last treatment, change 20% of the pond water. Do not combine this treatment with other chemical treatments.

- Use only outdoors or in well ventilated area.
- Store in original packaging.
- Keep out of reach from children and pets.
- Keep in a cool and dark place.
- Always wear protective gloves when using medicines.
- Is toxic by inhalation, ingestion or contact with skin/eyes. In case of contact with skin/eyes, rinse with a lot of water and ask medical advise. In case of an emergency during usage, contact a doctor immediately and take the original package with.
- Only use 80% of the dose if the acidity (pH) is lower than 7!
It is advisable tu use Malamix17 after this treatment. This restores the skin of the fish, and then restarts the filter bacteria back on.
