Aquipond Clearwater rapidly clears turbid water (brown, green or whitish) by permanently binding suspended matter and phosphates. The resulting aggregates are effectively retained by the filter and the pond takes on a crystalline appearance never before achieved. Harmless to flora and fauna. Make sure you leave the filter running, aerate and mix the water during the CLEARWATER treatment.
- Calculate the prescribed dose scrupulously (maximum 2-3 treatments per year with 20-day intervals between two treatments)
Instructions for use: Make sure the filtration and aeration systems are in good condition. Allow 10 days between 2 treatments. Before treatment, slow down the pump and stop aeration to allow sedimentation. Calculate the precise dose according to volume and dilute this dose at least 10 times with water before spreading it over the entire surface of the pond (watering can). Remove any waste that accumulates on the bottom or surface and restart the pump, always taking care to ventilate well. Caution: It is possible for large quantities of waste to be retained in the filter or in the sludge. It will be necessary to clean the filter and re-seed with Optinit. The perfectly normal increase in bacterial activity that follows can lead to a drop in oxygen levels, which is dangerous for fish. Treatment should therefore be avoided if the dissolved oxygen level is too low (hot weather, storms, non-compliant installations, etc.).

When applying Aquipond Clearwater, it is possible that large accumulations of organic matter may be captured in the filter or at the bottom of the tanks. This can lead to a normal increase in bacterial activity, which can temporarily reduce oxygen levels in the water, potentially posing a health risk to fish. It is therefore crucial to ensure that the filtration and aeration system is working optimally before using the product. It is also advisable to avoid applying the treatment when the level of dissolved oxygen in the water is already low, as may be the case during periods of high heat or just after a storm.
