Attach the strip to the stakes, leaving it to extend 5 cm above the stakes. Place a protective felt inside the pond and over the strip's edge. This felt protects the pond liner from any sharp objects in the ground. Then lay the pond liner over the edge and finish the outer side neatly. The result is a well-finished, barely visible edge.
