OASE FiltoClear 5000: compact pressure filter with integrated UVC
The OASE FiltoClear 5000 is a pressure filter designed to maintain clear water in smaller garden ponds. It combines mechanical and biological filtration with an integrated 18 W UVC clarifier in one compact unit.
Its compact design allows most of the filter housing to be buried next to the pond, leaving the main controls easily accessible from above.
Complete filtration for clearer pond water
Pond water passes through the FiltoClear filter foams, which trap suspended particles and debris while providing a large surface for beneficial microorganisms involved in biological filtration.
The integrated 18 W UVC clarifier acts on microscopic suspended algae responsible for green pond water. Combining UVC technology with mechanical and biological filtration helps produce visibly clearer water and maintain a more stable pond environment.

Easy cleaning without opening the filter
One of the main advantages of the FiltoClear is its integrated cleaning mechanism. The handle system compresses and cleans the filter foams without requiring them to be removed for every routine maintenance operation.
A 2-way valve allows dirty cleaning water to be redirected through the dedicated waste outlet. This makes it easy to discharge the waste water away from the pond.
UVC lamp maintenance has also been designed for convenience. The UVC unit can be removed for lamp replacement without dismantling the quartz glass or completely opening the filter.
Discreet installation in the garden
The robust pressure-filter housing can be installed close to the pond and partially buried. This considerably reduces the visual impact of the filtration system while keeping the controls accessible for maintenance.
What pond size is it suitable for?
OASE recommends the FiltoClear 5000 for:
Ponds without fish: up to 5 m³
Ponds with fish: up to 2.5 m³
Ponds with koi: up to 1.2 m³
The actual filtration requirement also depends on factors such as fish stocking level, sunlight exposure, feeding rate and the overall organic load of the pond.
Filter-only version
This product is the FiltoClear 5000 pressure filter with integrated UVC unit. A filtration pump is not included and must be selected separately according to the pond and installation requirements.
