The Iwachu Turquoise Furin Bell is handcrafted in Morioka, Japan, using Iwachu's traditional cast-iron craftsmanship.
Furin bells are traditionally hung during the Japanese summer. As the breeze moves the paper wind catcher, the bell produces a light and distinctive chime.
It can be hung beside a door or window, on a terrace, beneath a pergola or in a sheltered area of the garden. In Japan, it is also traditional to write a wish, poem or personal message on the hanging paper strip.
